CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Beginner Jumper: Open to riders in their first year of showing jumpers. Fences and spreads will not exceed 2’. No combinations.
Green Jumper: Open to green horses or ponies and/or riders. Professionals allowed. Fences and spreads will not exceed 2’. No combinations.
Hopeful Jumper: Open to all. Fences and spreads will not exceed 2’3”. No combinations.
Training Jumper: Open to all. Fences and spreads will not exceed 2’6”.
Level 0 Jumper: Open to all. Fences and spreads will not exceed 2’9”.
Level 1 Jumper: Open to all. Fences will not exceed 3’, spreads will not exceed 3’6”.
Level 2 Jumper: Open to all. Fences will not exceed 3’3”, spreads will not exceed 3’9”.
Level 3 Jumper: Open to all. Fences will not exceed 3’6”, spreads will not exceed 4’.
Open Jumpers: Open to all. All fence heights and spreads offered at request above 3’6” will be judged together as one division. Management reserves the right to decline a fence height request if they feel it could become a safety issue (footing, lack of filler for fences, etc.).

SCHOOLING will be permitted in the ring on the morning of the show from 7:45 am to 8:45 am only. Warm up area/jumps available all day.
ENTRIES are $10.00 per class for all classes except the add-backs. Add-back classes are $20.00 each, and will pay out based on the number of entries as follows: 6+ entries pays $20, $15, $10, $8, $4, $3. 12+ entries pays $35, $30, $25, $15, $10, $5.
EMT A licensed EMT will be onsite from 7:30 am until the completion of each show. There will be a $15.00 Grounds/EMT fee per exhibitor.
NEGATIVE COGGINS is required of each horse on the show grounds. We will be checking every coggins as you drive onto the property. Horses without proof of a negative coggins will be turned away. NO EXCEPTIONS.
DOGS Please be respectful of exhibitors and management and keep your dog on a leash at all times.
THE MANAGEMENT reserves the right to reschedule, combine, close, add or delete any classes or change the announced officials as may be necessary and in the best interest of the show.
HELMETS must be worn by all riders while mounted on the show grounds. Juniors must have ASTM-SEI helmets. Adults are encouraged to wear ASTM-SEI helmets.
DIRECTIONS TO FENRIDGE FARM SHOW GROUNDS
From Interstate 40: Take Interstate 85 North to Exit #160, Efland. Turn Right at bottom of exit ramp (left if coming from Burlington or points west). Cross over railroad tracks and turn left. At the first stoplight (Hwy 70) turn left. Go one mile and turn right onto Richmond Road. Go 1/2 mile and turn left onto Gregg Street (looks residential, does not look like a farm!) Follow the gravel road all the way into the show grounds. PLEASE SEE NOTE ABOVE REGARDING COGGINS CHECK.
BASIC JUMPER RULES
Table II, Sec. 2(b): All clean first rounds stay in the ring and complete a timed jump off.
Table II, Sec.2(c): Power and Speed. If you complete the Power phase of the course without faults, you cross through the timers and continue onto the timed Speed phase. Those with faults in the Power phase do not complete the Speed phase of the course.
Table II, Sec. 2(a): All clean first rounds are invited back at the completion of all first rounds to complete a timed jump off.
*For both first rounds and jump off rounds, you have 45 seconds to cross the starting line from the time you are given an audible signal.
*4 FAULTS: Knockdown of obstacle or standard with any portion of horse, rider or equipment when jumping an obstacle.
*4 FAULTS: First disobedience anywhere on course. Refusals, steps backwards, loss of forward movement, and circles.
*ELIMINATION: Fall of horse or rider, second cumulative disobedience, taking more than 45 seconds to jump the first jump, jumping an obstacle before crossing the starting line, going off course, rider and/or horse leaving arena before finishing the course, excessive use of whip or spurs.
*Because this is a Schooling Jumper Show series, reasonable outside coaching is permitted from the gate. Management reserves the right to make a judgment call if it appears this courtesy is being abused, unsafe or unprofessional.
*If show management deems a horse unsound to compete/continue competing, a refund will be given for classes not completed. EMT/Grounds fee is non-refundable once an exhibitor has shown.
*Formal show attire is not required; however either tall boots or paddock boots and britches are required. Half chaps are permitted.

Rules
* An open check must be given at the time of entry. Checks for classes should be made out to Harmon Field.
* BRHJA rules and regulations will apply at these shows for all riders.
* Leadline & Walk Alone riders may not cross enter for points into any other divisions.
* Walk Alone is for riders not ready to trot.
* Walk Trot is for riders not ready to canter, these riders can only show in this division and the Walk/Trot Crossrail division. No cross entering into any other division for points. Entering other divisions for experience unjudged is encouraged.
* W/T/C riders can only show in this division and the W/T/C Crossrail division. No cross entering for points into any other division.
* Walk Trot Crossrail riders may not cross enter for points into Walk Trot Canter Crossrails and vice versa.
* Crossrail rider may not cross enter for points into any division other than the W/T or W/T/C divisions that correspond with their Crossrail division.
*Pre-Short Stirrup is for those rider who have not yet competed in Short Stirrup you may not cross enter for points into the Beginner hunter or Crossrail divisions.
* Beginner Hunter divisions are for green horses and beginner riders.
* Professionals may enter any division unjudged.
* 17& Under Eq. rider may ride in the Beginner Hunter 17 & Under divisions. 17 & Under Eq. will be treated as a separate division and point awarded accordingly.
* Pre-Green is for green horses, you may not cross enter into the Mini Hunter for points.
* No cross entering for points into any divisions after Crossrails unless otherwise specified.
* You may show in all divisions unjudged for extra experience.
* Jumper classes will be done in a 2, 2b format and will compete over hunter style fences. These classes will be timed & judged as a Jumper class, the fastest clean ride wins. Jumper riders may enter into the Hunter division at the same height.
Points will be awarded as follows:
1st: 5 pts, 2nd: 4pts, 3rd: 3pts., 4th: 2pts, 5th: 1pt, and 6th 1/2pt. Champion: 10pts, Reserve Champion: 8pts.
